La Nuova Sardegna devotes an article to the candidacy of Sardinia’s prehistory as a Unesco heritage, focusing on monuments like the Domus de Janas, dolmens, menhirs, and ancient villages. The article highlights how this project, promoted by the “Identity and Memory” Studies Center (CeSim) from 2017 and supported by a network of 63 Sardinian municipalities, was included in the “tentative list” for 2021 thanks to the approval of the Ministry of Culture and the Italian National Commission for Unesco. The significant role of the scholar Giuseppa Tanda and the support of the local community in preserving and promoting these historical testimonies are emphasized.
