The Domus de Janas towards the nomination for UNESCO Heritage

The Algherolive portal highlights the major development of the project “Art and Architecture in Sardinia’s Prehistory. The domus de janas”, with Alghero taking the lead. This project has recently been added to the Tentative Lists of UNESCO, a significant step towards the official recognition of the pre-Nuragic sites of Sardinia. The initiative, supported by numerous academic bodies and regional institutions, includes the collaboration of the Center for Identity and Memory Studies (CeSim) and involves 62 municipalities in Sardinia. A conference in Sassari will underscore the next phases of the process towards the recognition of the Domus de Janas as world cultural heritage.
