Sardegnaeventi24.it presents the international conference “Hypogeism and megalithism in Europe and the Mediterranean between the 5th and the beginning of the 2nd millennium BC. Sardinia, a crossroads of peoples and cultures”, which will be held in Sassari from October 3 to 6, 2024, at the Sala Angioy of the Province.
The initiative, promoted by CeSim - Study Center “Identity and Memory”, is part of the UNESCO candidacy process of the Domus de Janas and will see the participation of important Italian and international scholars, including Olivier Lemercier, Juan Antonio Cámara Serrano, and Angela Maria Ferroni. The conference aims to explore the historical and cultural dynamics of Sardinia and prehistoric Mediterranean, with the support of numerous bodies and academic institutions.
