ANSA has published an article dedicated to the nomination of the Domus de Janas for recognition as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The so-called “fairy houses”, ancient pre-Nuragic tombs carved into the rock, represent an extraordinary archaeological and identity heritage of Sardinia.

The article discusses the fundamental role of the Network of Municipalities of the Domus de Janas and the CESIM association in promoting the nomination, which also includes other important prehistoric monuments on the island. The official decision from UNESCO is expected by the summer of 2025.
