House of the Fairies: towards the prestigious UNESCO recognition

OnuItalia has reported on the candidacy of the Domus de Janas, also known as Fairy Houses, for UNESCO recognition. The site highlights how this prehistoric archaeological heritage, dating back to the Neolithic and spread throughout Sardinia, is at the center of a broad enhancement project involving over a hundred municipalities and sees the CESIM and the Network of Municipalities of the Domus de Janas at the forefront.
The process, led by the Ministry of Culture, could conclude in 2025, officially sanctioning the importance of Sardinian prehistoric art and architecture at an international level.
