Tottus in Pari has dedicated an in-depth look at the UNESCO candidacy of the Domus de Janas, the ancient hypogeum tombs also known as “Fairy Houses”. The article highlights the role of CESIM and the Network of Municipalities of the Domus de Janas - with Alghero leading - in the long journey for the recognition of Sardinian prehistoric art and architecture.

The archaeological and cultural importance of the nominated monuments, spread throughout the island, including Monte Baranta, Monte d’Accoddi, Sa Coveccada, and the lithic workshops of Pau, is emphasized. The UNESCO verdict is expected by the summer of 2025.
